The Pharmacy is where all the drugs are stored. We have a strict policy at the surgery for repeat prescriptions to ensure that the drugs are given at the right dose and the correct amount. All animals are requested to visit the surgery annually for flea and worm products. Any animal that does not have a routine vaccination will have to arrange a prescription check. Prescription checks are held every 3 months for all o ther products that are presription only. This allows the vet to check the health of the pet. When an order is placed, the receptionist hands it to the nurse on pharmacy duty. The medication is checked and dispensed. This is then double checked by the veterinary surgeon. The medication is initialled and the medication released to the client.
